Fall 2007
 
It has been an unusually warm
Fall so far in Western New York. Normally, highs are in the 60's this
time of year. So far it has been beach weather in the 80's everyday for
weeks!
 
Above: Maranda's rendering of (left to right) Poppy, Maranda, Samantha,
& "Little" Grandma Mia. Its amazing how she has
captured Poppy''s glasses and towering personality, and even how the the twins
gaze downward at their grandmother's head on the floor.
On our wedding anniversary, we took the girls to Color Me
Mine pottery studio to create a family work of art as a keepsake of the
occasion!
 
 
 
The girls love to make greeting cards for friends and
family!
 
 
 
Here is there first pumpkin craft that they each designed
by themselves! Samantha's is on the left.
 
A visit to PUMPKINTOWN!!!!!

Maranda's first family
portrait. In her Elmo coloring book that she got for Christmas
from Santa, she drew (from left to right): Maranda, Samantha, Mommy, and
Daddy. She also colored the crayons two of her favorite colors!

While Maranda
is much better at coloring with crayons (consciously trying to stay within
the lines), Samantha is our prodigy painter. With finger paints, she
created a lovely floral bouquet. Note the attention to detail as she
paints the rose red, the daffodil yellow, and the stems green!

more of a "physical" experience and creating
